Meeting point
This panoramic flight will start at Airport Piket Sinj. Piket has been used by many glider pilots and small aircraft pilots. The Airport offers a gliding section and a skydiving school. It is reasonable to conclude that this small airport is busiest in the summer. There is one interesting manifestation held each year – Alka Skydivers Cup. Skydivers jump from different heights using parachutes and try to land at the landing site in the form of the Alka ring.
Krka National Park
The flight starts with the passage over Krka waterfalls and the beautiful monastery located on the small island of Visovac. Krka National Park is well worth a visit and it is an enjoyable walk through the woods on wooden pathways, but a panoramic flight over is a whole new experience. The main attractions of Krka National Park are waterfalls and travertines with the signature waterfall Skradinski Buk. With a panoramic flight you will discover all Krka National park has to offer: walking trails around waterfalls, interesting old mills with and big and small waterfalls. You will see Roški slap and the island of Visovac with a small monastery.
We will continue by flying over the slopes of the mountain of Velebit, from where we can enjoy the view of the beautiful Lika landscape. A major feature of the Lika landscape are rivers and lakes, as well as marshes and floodplains. In these surroundings, we will fly above the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a unique pearl of nature and one of the ten most beautiful nature parks in the world.
