National park Krka is named after the river Krka, very well known for its numerous waterfalls. The national park is one of the two Croatian national parks that contain lakes and waterfalls! Nature is wonderful and it is a great place to relax.
The main sights in the Krka National Park include Skradinski buk, Roški Slap and the island of Visovac. Skradinski buk is one of the most attractive parts of the park and probably what most people come to Krka National Park to see. It is the longest and the most beautiful waterfall in the park. Roški Slap is the sixth waterfall of the river Krka and around it there is a walking trail with wonderful views. The island of Visovac is located inside the park and it is home to Roman Catholic Visovac Monastery. Enjoy the breathtaking sights of lakes and islands, as well as the amazing walk along with the series of wooden trails.
The town of Skradin
After enjoying waterfalls, it is time to hop on the boat and enjoy a panoramic cruise to the town of Skradin. Skradin is a small town located at the entrance to the Krka National Park. The main sight of the park Skradinski buk, was named after Skradin. Here you will have some time for swimming or buying souvenirs.
Wine, Cheese & Olive Oil tasting
Next on our schedule is to eat something. And what is better than wine, cheese, and olives tasting? We will visit the restaurant Wine garden and enjoy domestic food. Here you will enjoy amazing wine, a lovely atmosphere and delicious prosciutto and cheese. You will see it is the perfect place to relax in a super friendly environment. The best way to feel like a Dalmatian!
