Tour Description

We will start our cruise from Dubrovnik, “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Dubrovnik is one of the focal points of Croatian tourism. Whether you have been staying in Dubrovnik or you are planning to visit all major sights in Dubrovnik, take our suggestions and do not miss following landmarks.

The city walls of Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful and preserved medieval fortification systems in Europe are 1940 metres long and 23 metres high. Walls protected Dubrovnik against numerous invaders both from the sea and land and proved a reliable defense system. Franciscan monastery is a precious example of the architectural possibilities in the 14th century. Historical and contemporary cultural heritage of Dubrovnik is carefully kept and can be seen in numerous museums and galleries of the city.

We will head to island of Mljet and national park Mljet. Our sightseeing tour includes guided tour and entrance fee. “The greenest island in Croatia” is completely covered with thick forest and sandy beaches. Island of Mljet is very unusual thanks to two salty lakes in the middle of the island that are part of national park. In the middle of one lake, a small island is hidden. It is possible to reach it by boat. Otherwise, island is full of small picturesque settlements like Pomena, Saplunara and Skrivena luka which are very interesting places for nautical tourists. Tourism is not that strong in Mljet yet.

Finally, we will find our way to the largest city in Dalmatia and second largest city in Croatia, Split. Besides being the largest ferry port, it is economic and cultural center of Dalmatia. It is considered that is dates back to 295 which is the year when the city was founded. It was the year when construction of Diocletian’s Palace started and city developed further.  Thanks to its turbulent past, city of Split has enviable collection of cultural-historical monuments, palaces and churches. In Split we will have organized city tour. We will visit most prominent landmarks. Diocletian’s Palace was included on UNESCO’s World heritage List in 1979. The Palace is a rectangular building with four corner towers and four gates. It covers the area of 30 000 m2. The Peristyle is certainly the heart and the most vibrant part of the entire Palace. We will visit a favorite stop of all the tours, as well as independent visitors to Split – the great statue of Gregory of Nin. If you are seeking good luck touch Gregory’s big toe, the luck will follow you and wishes will come true. We will visit Pjaca – the center of formal and informal, public and cultural life. Finally, Marmontova Street is one of the most beautiful streets of the city – the symbol of urban life in Split. Do not miss stroll down seafront promenade – Riva which has been the heart of the city throughout centuries. This is a meeting point of citizens of Split and tourists. Enjoy in Mediterranean spirit of the city.

In the end of our cruise, transfer from Split port to airport or hotel is organized.
