Tour Description

Day 1    SPLIT – SUPETAR – PUČIŠĆA  (L)

Bike Course: Supetar – Pučišća

Length: 25 km

Total ascend: 380 m

Highest point: 90 m

Upon your arrival in Split, embarkment will start from 11:00h. At 13:00h we will depart Split and head towards island of Brač. We will enjoy lunch on board. As we arrive in town of Supetar, located on the northern side of the island we will cycle tour through the coastal road that follows northern part of the island. We will cycle by the fishing villages Splitska and Postira and arrive in one of the most beautiful small villages in Europe – Pučišća. It is very famous for its white limestone and beautiful bay. Afternoon is free to explore this charming village on your own. Overnight in Pučišća.

Day 2       PUČIŠĆA – POKRIVENIK/ JELSA – SUĆURAJ – LOVIŠTA (B, L, CD)

After breakfast we will cruise towards the sunniest Croatian island – island of Hvar. Cycling tour will start in a small bay Pokrivenik. Tour starts with ascending to the highest point of the route and then descends to the eastern point of island of Hvar – Sućuraj. You will pass villages Gdinj and Bogomolje. In town of Sućuraj our ship will be waiting. We will have lunch on board and then we will continue our cruise towards peninsula of Pelješac and a village of Kučišta. Captain’s dinner onboard. Overnight in Kučišta.

Day 3      KUČIŠTA – TRSTENIK  (B, D) 

Bike Course: Kučišta – Trstenik

Length: 30 km

We usually call this ride the wine-panoramic route. After breakfast on board, start cycling to town of Orebić. Orebić is a port town and it has been home to generations of important nautical captains. The first few kilometers of ascending and then descending will offer amazing viewpoints of Korčula archipelago. Afterwards, ascend to the vineyard area with the most famous varieties of Croatian wines. You will continue riding through vineyards to town of Trstenik where our boat awaits. Overnight in Trstenik.

Day 4     TRSTENIK – MLJET – KORČULA (B, L)

Length: 18 km

During breakfast, we will cruise from Trstenik to island of Mljet, the greenest island in Croatia. We will go for a cycle in Mljet National Park for which entrance fee has to be paid on spot. Mljet National Park consists of two saltwater lakes with well-marked paths around them.  Refresh in saltwater lakes and return to the boat for lunch on board. In the afternoon, we will cruise towards island of Korčula and the town that bears the same name. Upon arrival, free time to explore and enjoy town of Korčula. Overnight in Korčula.

Day 5      KORČULA – VELA LUKA (B, D)

Bike Course: Korčula – Pupnat – Smokvica – Prižba – Blato – Vela Luka

Length: 55 km

Total ascend: 750 m

After breakfast, we will start with the longest route we have planned. It passes through the entire island of Korčula. Ascend to Žrnovo village, about four kilometers from town of Korčula and then to agricultural and the oldest village on the island – Pupnat which is also the highest point of the route. Descend to the south side of Korčula and continue to ride through numerous vineyards. In village Smokvica, which sits in the center of Korčula, take a short break. Descend to the sea and refresh on one of the many hidden beaches. Final ascend towards town of Blato and finally descend towards Vela Luka. Dinner is organized on board and overnight in Vela Luka.

 

Day 6    VELA LUKA – HVAR – STARI GRAD (B, L)

Bike Course: 2. Stari Grad-Jelsa-Vrboska-Stari Grad

In the early morning we will cruise to the town of Hvar, while having breakfast on board. Exploring Hvar old town is a must on any trip to the island. Prepare to cycle from town of Hvar to the other side of the island – town of Stari Grad. On your way you will pass vast lavender fields and enjoy the view of neighbouring islands. Lunch on board in Stari Grad. Easy afternoon cycle to town of Jelsa and town of Vrboska. Overnight in Stari Grad.

Day 7   STARI GRAD – STOMORSKA – SPLIT  (B, L)

On the following day, we will start with morning cruise from town of Stari Grad to the island of Šolta. After breakfast on board, cycle from Stomorska bay to the highest point of the island – Gornje Selo. Continue to the west, to the village of Maslinica. Take a short break and return to Stomorska. Lunch on board and cruise back to Split. Afternoon is free for you to enjoy in Split on your own. Overnight in Split.

Day 8         SPLIT  (B)

After an early breakfast we say goodbye to each other and disembark.

SWIMMING BREAKS: If the weather is good and if we have time, we will stop for a regular swimming stops. Boat will wait for us in secluded bays or after the cycling and before departure to the next island.

CYCLING ROUTE: The length of the daily cycling routes is estimated and always depends on current local information. Sailing and cycling routes may be changed on the spot due to weather conditions and the capacity of the respective cyclists on board. Departure is usually during the morning hours, mostly after breakfast.

BICYCLES: bike rental possible on request.  A repair kit for personal bikes is obligatory.

FOOD: Breakfast and either lunch or dinner. During our cycling routes, we recommend stops at local restaurants where you can sample the local specialties. These meals are not included in the price of the trip. There is a possibility to book a captain’s dinner, which is paid directly on the spot and is offered by the captain and your tour guide.
