National Park Kornati

Visit this beautiful national park with more than 140 islands and islets. On this tour you will enjoy cruising through the archipelago of the National Park Kornati, taste exquisite Dalmatian food, enjoy live music and swim in the salty waters of Lake Mir, famous for its healing mud.

Departure from Split

Early in the morning we will board our bus at prearranged place. We will drive through Split and maybe see all those you sights you missed. Split is well-known for the Roman Diocletian’s Palace dating from the 4th century as well as being a base to visit the nearby islands of Hvar, Brač and Vis. However, it can be used as a base to visit a numerous towns on the mainland including Trogir.

Trogir

Just a 30-minutes’ drive from Split, Trogir is included UNESCO world heritage list and for a good reason. The historic center includes 13th century Venetian Cathedral of St. Lawrence which gates are masterpiece of local artist Master Radovan. The main square is a nice place to sit, but there aren’t many locals hanging out in the old town. This gorgeous little town is an ideal place to spend a relaxing day by the waterfront, enjoying the local fish based cuisine or a coffee or three. Trogir is situated on a tiny island between the mainland and the island of Ciovo. We will meet other passengers in tourist bus stop and head to Vodice.

Vodice

Vodice are a small town, a tourist center primarily known for its nightlife. In Vodice we will emark and head to Kornati.

Kornati

The Kornati archipelago consists of 140 uninhabited islands, islets and reefs comprising an area of only 70 km2. They are famous for the peculiar shapes of reefs and crags but particularly for their high cliffs. There are those who claim that the number of the smaller islands is even greater, since an old saying says: “As is the number of days in a year, so is the number of the Kornati islands”.

The Kornati National Park is often mentioned as “nautical paradise” in tourist publications. And really, in “slalom” sailing through the 89 unforgettable islands, islets and reefs in the Kornati National Park, you will test all of your nautical skills, particularly if the weather puts in some effort… You’ll need a valid ticket to sail through the National Park.

If you like beautiful nature, adventure and good food this is place for you! Divine blue sea so full of life in a contrast with, on the first sight, plain rocky islands.Come and spend some time there and you will find most relaxing holiday you can imagine.

P.S. I maybe little subjective but it doesnt change the fact that this is heaven on earth.
