Details

We will get on our flight from Split and head towards islands of central Dalmatia.

We will fly over island of Šolta. Its breathtaking nature will sweep you off your feet. Šolta is a small island located only nine nautical miles in front of Split. Šolta can offer so much, but its best advantage are beaches- They are hidden in secluded bays in southern part of the island. Most beaches are pebbly, but there are some sandy beaches. Surrounded with thick pine forest they are unique in their beauty.

Next, we will fly over island of Brač. Brač is situated just across Split. Numerous settlements can be seen from the air: Bol, Supetar, Postira, Sutivan, Pučišća, Sumartin and Milna. However, the most beautiful sight to see from the air is beach Zlatni rat in Bol. This beach has been listed as one of the top beaches in Europe and in the world. It can be spotted in every promotional video about Croatia because of its shape. Beach is in triangular shape, covered in fine sand and its peak directs in the way which wind blows. Just above Zlatni rat you will notice highest peak among all Adriatic islands called Vidova gora which offers visitors an unforgettable view over the Adriatic Sea.

As we fly south, we will see island of Hvar. This is where you will use your camera the most. The view of town of Hvar and Pakleni islands are particularly worthwhile. You will see thousands of lavender bushes in bloom, enchanting stone ruins, and highest peak on island of Hvar (otherwise inaccessible). This is an excellent way to put the island into geographical perspective.

Next is island of Vis. Island of Vis is unique because it has been isolated as a military island. It has persevered untouched nature. Two years ago, several Hollywood actors and actresses disembarked on island of Vis to make Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. This is a sequel to Mamma Mia! which was filmed in Greece. The original Mamma Mia was filmed in Greece in the island of Skopelos but this time filmmakers chose island of Vis to represent the fictional island of Kalokairi. Suddenly, island of Vis became a film set. The filming locations included town of Vis, town of Komiza and Barjoška beach. We will see all these locations from the air. Almost whole town of Vis and town of Komiža served as filming scene. Barjoška is the island’s western most beach and it appears in several scenes. Bay is inaccessible by land so cast and crew came to work in boats. However, we will see island of Vis most popular beach, Stiniva and Stiniva cove. This little cove is one of the highlights Vis has to offer. It’s often showcased in the travel guides and doesn’t disappoint. The beach itself is very small and the beauty of the place can be lost with the sheer number of boats hovering by the drop off point. That’s why we will see it from the air.

Finally, after one hour and thirty minutes we will get back to Split. Thank you for travelling with us and we hope to see you again. We know this tour was amazing and hope you will bring only good memories with you!

We think you haven’t enjoyed the real Croatia until you’ve seen it from the air… The untouched nature, crystal clear sea, many secluded coves and amazing cliffs are guaranteed to make a lasting impression on your memory. Join us on this unique tour and experience islands from the air. Spice up your vacation!
