The Palace is a rectangular building with four corner towers and as many gates. It covers the area of 30 000 m2. The Dragons were kept in the Basement of Diocletian’s Palace. Diocletian’s Cellars are excellently preserved and as such are one of the most attractive parts of Diocletian’s Palace. They are numbered among the best preserved complexes of Antiquity of this sort in the world. They served as a supporting structure for the upper floor

The streets of Split have also hosted the Slave Rebellion (Papalićeva Street).

Klis medieval fortress situated above a village bearing the same name, near the city of Split is a home to city of Meereen. This peaceful but dramatic place is place where Khalisi answered ‘injustice with justice’. Klis fortress was built by the ancient Illyrian tribe Dalmatae, becoming a royal castle that was the seat of many Croatian kings. Klis Fortress has guarded the frontier, being lost and re-conquered several times throughout its more than two thousand years long history.
