Day 1 DUBROVNIK ARRIVAL, Sunday
Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, transfer to hotel. Meet the tour guide, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO, Monday
In morning we will depart for Mostar. Our sightseeing of this war stricken city will start in Old City Mostar, pass Mostar Bridge and continue to Old Bazaar and the Mosque. Early in the afternoon we will head towards Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. To get you in Sarajevo spirit we will go to Baščaršija – heart of Sarajevo where we will indulge in Turkish coffee, eat burek or čevapi. Short visit to Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and you are free to continue exploration on your own. We will have dinner and spend the night in Sarajevo.
Day 3 SARAJEVO – BELGRADE, Tuesday
Right after breakfast we will had to Belgrade. With and obligatory stop to have lunch we will arrive to Belgrade in late afternoon, have dinner in a local restaurant and spend the night here. Yu are free to explore on your own if you like.
Day 4 BELGRADE – ZAGREB, Wednesday
On Wednesday after Ibreakfast we will visit most important sights of Belgrade. If you want to feel the soul and heart of Serbian people, Kalemegdan Fortress is place to be. It is set between Sava and Danube rivers and gives amazing view over the rivers. Enjoy! Afterwards we will walk around Republic Square and Knez Mihajlova Street. Short visit to Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in the city and Tito’s Memorial will sum up our sightseeing of Belgrade. We will head to Croatia and Zagreb where we will have dinner spend the night.
Day 5 ZAGREB – PLITVICE, Thursday
City tour of Zagreb will include visit to the fortified Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, the Croatian National Theatre and the University of Zagreb. We will get back on our coach and head to largest national park in Croatia – Plitvice. If you are into waterfalls and lakes you will be left breathless. Sixteen lakes joined in a series of cascading waterfalls make Plitvice a must see natural phenomenon. We will have dinner in local restaurant and spend the night in this region.
Day 6 PLITVICE – TROGIR – SPLIT, Friday
In the morning we will set our way back to Adriatic coast, this time to Trogir. This small but beautiful town is mostly known for St. Lawrence Cathedral with the portal of the western gate, the masterpiece of Majstor Radovan. After we take a short tour of Trogir, we will continue back to Split.
Split, a largest city on Adriatic coast is widely known for Diocletian’s Palace, ruins of the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s palace with date back to early 4th century A.D. . Together with on the Peristyle they made it to UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. We will spend rest of the day in Split and you are free to explore more if you wish. We will have dinner and spend the night in Split.
Day 7 SPLIT – DUBROVNIK, Saturday
In the morning after breakfast we will leave Split and head to our starting point, Dubrovnik. Another place listed in UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage or some call it “pearl of Adriatic” – Dubrovnik. We will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. We recommend visit to Ancient city walls or visit Mt. Srđ by cable car. In Dubrovnik we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 8 DUBROVNIK – DEPARTURE, Sunday
After breakfast, our tour ends with organized transfer to Dubrovnik Airport. Thank you for enjoying one of the most popular tours with us!
