Join us and explore the island of Biševo, Vis and Hvar with our brand new speed boats. It is truly an amazing experience. Our caves are a must-see!
We meet early in the morning around 7:30 in Split Riva. We board on and start with our new speed boats towards Blue cave on island of Biševo. You must have heard about Blue Cave or Blue Grotto as some call it. It is a small sea cave on the island of Biševo, just five kilometers southwest from island of Vis. What makes this cave so special is its beautiful blue glow which comes from wide opening below sea level. Actually, Blue cave has two openings. Smaller one through which boat can pass and wider one below sea level through which sunlight penetrates and makes cave glow in magnificent blue. This mesmerizing blue light will make you try and swim or dive in the cave but unfortunately it is forbidden. However, it is still worth your time.
Sea Monk cave
From Blue Cave we move to another cave on the island of Biševo – Seal Monk cave, or in Croatian Medvidina spilja. This cave also illuminates in beautiful blue glow since light penetrates through the entrance. Entrance is quite tall and wide, but sometimes it is not possible to enter the cave with a speedboat because of the weather conditions or tide. What makes this cave special is that until half of the last century monk seals used to reside here. This cave was perfect place for protection of sea monks, their rest and most importantly spawning. Whole island of Biševo is made of limestone and therefore it has lots of caves perfect for these beautiful creatures to enjoy. Recently they are seen again in the Adriatic sea and we hope they will return soon to island of Biševo, but for now they are still one of the most endangered mammals on Earth with not many left.
After these natural beauties we will relax in Komiža, a small town situated on the southwest on the island of Vis. Upon arrival you will notice small boats and conclude that Komiža has long fishing tradition. You will be pleasantly surprised by warmth of the local people. For one hour you can decide in which of local restaurants or bar you can have your morning coffee.
Then we will start our way to the very unique Stiniva bay. There’s no denying Stiniva is beautiful. It’s pretty. And it’s famous. The beach itself is rather small, but it would be shame to visit this bay and not to take a swim. Perfect for Insta shots!
For some more swimming and sunbathing we will visit island of Budikovac. Some call it heaven on earth, one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic Sea. It offers warm, crystal clear water and pebbly beaches. There is a small restaurant and a tiny cafe to enjoy thoroughly. By the way, those two are only signs of development on the island.
Beautiful place to visit are Pakleni islands. We won’t be disembarking, just taking a panoramic tour of the islands. Pakleni islands include main island of Sveti Klement or Veliki otok (Big island). Others are Jerolim, Pokonji Dol, Marinkovac, Gališnik, Stambedar, Vodnjak Veliki and Vodnjak Mali. Pakleni islands are famous for its bays, pebble and sandy beaches and coves. Pakleni islands are definitely worth checking out!
Island of Hvar and town of Hvar
Sunny island of Hvar is located off the Dalmatian coast, between islands of Brač and Korčula. The town of Hvar offers different ideas of fun, but since we will have time for lunch, try some of the best restaurant which suits all budgets and tastes. Hvar is known for its gourmet offer and puts emphasis on high quality ingredients (fresh seafood and seasonal products – vegetables and fruits).
Afterwards you can enjoy in quiet cafés listening to the music or reading newspapers. However, if you aren’t tired, you can explore medieval Old Town. Maybe you could try for Hvar Fortress – absolutely amazing views from the top.
Some tourists decide to sample excellent local wines in many wineries.
At around 17.00 we embark and go back to Split.
