In the morning, after buffet breakfast we will head towards Krka National Park and town of Šibenik.

National park Krka is named after river Krka that it encloses. It’s a gorgeous park to explore and sight of the main waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. National park is located in Šibenik-Knin County.  When park was formed in 1985 it was meant to serve for scientific and cultural purposes. Management of the park is determined to protect park as much as possible so it is only park in Croatia that limits number of people that can be there at the same time. Park is exceptionally rich in flora and fauna. It is home to more than 800 different plants and some are even endemic species. Most attractive part of the park is Skradinski buk, considered to be one of the most beautiful calcium carbonate waterfalls in Europe. It is one of Croatia’s most famous sights. While here, it is possible to take short boat ride to the island of Visovac. It is small beautiful island full of history. In national park we will have a guide who will show us around the park.

Town of Šibenik is the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea and place where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. We will have a guide who will take us on a city tour and show us all important sights and landmarks in Šibenik. One of main sights is central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James, which has a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. There are four fortresses in Šibenik and all of them offer views of the city, sea and nearby islands. The fortresses are very popular tourist sightseeing destinations.

Next on our schedule is rising star of Croatian tourism, town of Zadar. After an organized sightseeing tour, you will understand why. You will start your sightseeing tour in Kalelarga, the main street of Zadar. When you walk down Kalelarga you can get to know this town from the ancient period until the modern times. This pedestrian street is one of symbols of Zadar.

Other two recent world-famous attractions are Sea Organ and Sun Salutation. Sea Organ is recognizable by its cascading appearance. These 70-meter long stone steps with a pipe and channel network produce a special and a unique sound; the sound of the sea connected with the interaction of human knowledge and ideas. It is a must in all sightseeing tours and a favorite meeting place of Zadar residents. It was built in 2005. In 2008,  Sun Salutation was built above the Sea Organ. It is a modern installation of 300 multi-layered glass plates in a 22-meter diameter circle. When you reach Sun Salutation you will notice names and numbers inscribed into the ring around the Sun Salutation. They are a part of St. Chrysogonus calendar from the 13th century, which is the first calendar having used Arabic numbers for astronomical information.

On your sightseeing tour you will visit St. Anastasia’s Cathedral, the biggest church in Dalmatia. Also, visit to St. Donatus church is planned. It is a famous symbol of Zadar.
