FROM DUBROVNIK TO ELAPHITI ISLANDS, SLANO, MLJET, KORČULA, VIS, BIŠEVO, HVAR, BOL AND SPLIT

Day 1 DUBROVNIK Arrival, Saturday (WR, D)

We will pick you up from your Dubrovnik accommodation or Dubrovnik airport and take you to Gruž harbor where our boat waits. Embarkation begins at 13:00h. Unpack, get settled in your cabin and relax. Welcome reception is organized and followed by dinner this evening.

Day 2 DUBROVNIK – ELAPHITI ISLANDS – SLANO (Oyster tasting), Sunday (B, L, T)

In the morning after breakfast we will start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World heritage site. We will show you all important sight and you will understand why Dubrovnik is a place to visit. Old town of Dubrovnik hides many sights and landmark, such as Franciscan Monastery, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Covered in stone blocks, the most famous street in Dubrovnik, Stradun is favorite promenade and the meeting point of Dubrovnik residents and tourists. If you want, you can climb Dubrovnik city walls which were used to protect the city both from the land and the sea.

We will return to our boat and head to one of Elaphiti islands in front of Dubrovnik for a swim stop. In the afternoon we will head and arrive in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village. Nearby Slano we will learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat. We will spend the night in Slano.

Day 3 SLANO – MLJET, Monday (B, L)

On our third day, we will head to island of Mljet. Our Cruise Manager will take us for a stroll to National park Mljet and its famous salt lakes. If you decide, you can take boat ride to the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church. However, you you want to explore on your own, it is posssbile to rent scooters bicycles or kayaks. We will spend the night in the heart of national park, village of Pomena.

Day 4 MLJET – KORČULA, Tuesday (B, L)

Today we will make our way towards island of Korčula. Korčula is known for its lush vegetation and many beautiful beaches. We will stop to take a swim and have lunch onboard. As we arrive to Korčula, we will take guided walking tour. Korčula is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Historical streets and alleys, full of legends and stories hide many sights like: the Cathedral of St. Mark and Bell’s tower, the Museum of Marco Polo, The House of Marco Polo… We will spend the night here so do not forget to enjoy in a gourmet experience.

Day 5 KORČULA – VIS, Wednesday (B, L, CD)

In the morning we will head to island of Vis. It is situated the furthest from the mainland. Since it was for a long time restricted for public, as it served as naval base, its nature and beaches are completely untouched. Combined with amazing local cuisine will make you want to stay in this paradise. We will spend the night in the port of Vis and enjoy Captain`s dinner onboard.

Day 6 VIS – BIŠEVO – HVAR, Thursday (B, L)

As we have not had enough of natural phenomenons, here is another one. We will head to small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave. This cave has two opening. Through one sun penetrated and illuminates the cave in most beautiful silvery blue glow. The other opening serves for visitors to enter.

Our next stop is Hvar. The sunniest island in Croatia is tourist hot spot during summer. Tourists are attracted to Hvar nightlife. Great bars and summer clubs in Hvar Town are visited by thousands of tourists each year. Since we will spend the night in Hvar harbor you can visit them during your stay.

 

Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season in July and August) port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad/Jelsa. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.

Day 7 HVAR – BOL – SPLIT, Friday (B, L)

After breakfast, we will head to Bol, a small town on island of Brač. Bol is famous for Golden Horn beach, unique in the Adriatic. Its peak changes direction depending on the way wind is blowing.  We have planned to stop for a swim here.

We will continue to Split. Once there, we will join our guide for a tour of Split. Our guide will take to most important sight and landmarks, such as: Diocletian’s Palace, one of most preserved monuments of Roman architecture in the world, the Cathedral of Saint Domnius… We will spend the day in Split and we recommend you spend the whole day exploring. Split offers everything you might possibly want. We will spend the night onboard in Split harbor.

Day 8 SPLIT DEPARTURE, Saturday (B)

After breakfast it’s time to disembark. We will take you to Split airport or your Split hotel.
