Rector’s Palace is a historic monument in in Dubrovnik which was home to Rector of Ragusa between the 14th century and 1808. It has housed the State Assembly and Minor council, the Armory, powder magazine and jail. The Assumption of the Virgin Mary Cathedral is Roman Catholic Church filled with numerous paintings and statues. After these sights we recommend you take a walk on Stradun, main pedestrian area in Dubrovnik. It has a broad and beautiful stone walkway which will make you learn so much about Dubrovnik. We will visit Diocletian’s Palace (listed on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage), Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Impossible not to visit when in Split is Diocletian’s Palace. This ancient structure complex is amazingly well-preserved built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century in preparation for his retirement. The Peristyle is one of the most impressive parts of the palace. Don’t miss out on the Vestibule just behind the Peristyle. It was used to enter the residential part of the palace. In the afternoon we will leave for Trogir, small town with its most prominent sight – the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. You will spot Cathedral from the main promenade and it is the best place to visit to see the beauty of the whole city. Afterwards we will continue to Zadar where we will have dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast we will have morning sightseeing tour of Zadar, the rising star of Croatian tourism. Recently mostly known for Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun, both ingeniously designed public spaces. These two are a fantastic attraction in Zadar and most certainly worth visiting. Short walk away is Roman Forum and Church of St. Donat. Roman Forum located in the center of the old town Zadar and ruins are completely exposed which means you can freely walk around them. Church of St. Donat is located next to Roman Forum and it is one of Zadar’s most famous landmarks. We recommend you go up to the bell tower since it is best viewpoint in town. In the afternoon we will drive towards Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. We will have dinner and spend the night in Zagreb.
