1000 Islands route

Croatia is a land of a thousand islands. Want to visit them all? Join us and fly over them!

The flight starts by flying over the field of Sinj, then flying over the slopes of Kozjak towards Trogir. Just a few facts about Trogir… Town of Trogir is a historic town and harbor. It is located on a small island between mainland and island of Čiovo. Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites due to Venetian architecture that can be found almost everywhere in the town. Most visited tourist hotspot is Trogir’s old town, with Romanesque Cathedral of St. Lawrence from 17th century.  Its doorway is unique – art piece by Master Radovan! From the air you will probably see fortress Kamerlengo. Free-standing fortress at the southwest side of Trogir, the fortress defended Trogir’s harbor and anchored the southeast corner of the city walls (which have since been removed). Its massive towering walls, with rectangular merlons on top, give it the classical appearance of a castle.

After we fly over Trogir, we will head to Kaštela bay. Enjoy in the view on the mountains that surround Split. Just to keep you updated, Kaštela are a chain of seven small towns near Split that developed around seven small villages which used to be fortresses.

Next on our schedule are Rogoznica and Primošten. Primošten is small town located on a small peninsula grown out of the fisherman village. Primošten can be described as a town packed with stone houses that offer atmosphere of an original Dalmatian town. However, from the air you will see vast vineyards, olive groves and beautiful beaches.

Soon, at our right side there is the city of Šibenik, the oldest native Croatian town on the Adriatic and place where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Amazing scene! Šibenik is a less known gem in the Adriatic. Historic town in Croatia is located in central Dalmatia and it is a political, educational, transport, industrial and tourist center of Šibenik–Knin County. It’s a charming town with beautiful winding streets, a nice waterfront and good restaurants.

Finally, contours of Kornati islands start to emerge.

Kornati consist of 140 uninhabited islands comprising an area of 70 km2. They are famous for their high cliffs. There are those who claim that the number of the smaller islands is even greater, since an old saying says: “As is the number of days in a year, so is the number of the Kornati islands”.  This nautical paradise offers sailors 89 unforgettable islands, islets and reefs in the Kornati National Park. If you like beautiful nature this is place for you! Divine blue sea is so full of life in a contrast with plain rocky islands. Come and spend some time there and find most relaxing holiday you can imagine. The flight over these interesting cliffs, miniature islands and reefs takes about fifteen minutes. You will have a beautiful time! The Adriatic is unbelievably colorful and flight will showed you the color change in water even from over 300M in the air. You haven’t enjoyed the nature and coast until you’ve seen it from the air. Seeing the National park of Kornati from the air is something you won’t easily forget…

Our flight ends with a turn towards Šibenik, where we leave Kaštela bay on our left side, and the flight ends with flying over the city of Sinj and landing to the airport.

We guarantee you will enjoy clear blue sea, the mountains, dozens of islands, hidden bays and small Dalmatian villages – the view is magnificent!

Join us and see as much Croatia as possible! It will be unforgettable experience and definitely the best way to explore Dalmatia!
